Well I did it, barely. This week the run interval increased from 60 to 90 seconds. It was much harder since I ran back to back days instead of taking a day off between wk 1 and 2. I did this because I'm an idiot and I am trying to kill myself. Haha. Really it is because I am driving home to Ga this week and I wanted to work everything around my full day of driving and going from place to place at home.
I stopped before the little dude told me to a few times but once it was literally half a beat before he said stop and the second was about 5 seconds before the end of the last interval. I fell good but I can tell my body didn't have enough down time. Hopefully the run on Wednesday will be better.
I'm having a hard time finding running clothes that I feel comfortable in. It is something that has always pissed me off. Everyone says, "You're fat, you need to work out and lose weight." Yet, no one makes good workout clothes for fat people that are reasonably priced. All I want are some looser fitting running tanks and lightweight loose shorts and I don't want to spend $30-$40 on each piece. It's very frustrating. I did manage to find my stack of regular tank tops I bought last year at old navy for $1 so I guess they will just have to do for now until I lose enough weight to buy other stuff.
I'm really looking forward to heading to GA this week to see some friends and family but I am worried that it may screw with my workouts. Plus Mac won't be there to encourage me and give me a high five when I finish the workout.
I guess we'll see how it goes.
